Question about Sennheiser RS 110 Consumer Headphones

Open Question

Transmitter light not on

For some reason my tv wouldn't come on, so I unplugged it for a minute or two and when I plugged it back into the outlet it came on like there had never been a problem. However, I have not been able to use my headphones since. I looked at the transmitter and the light is not on. What do I do? or is it dead?

SOURCE: Sennheiser Wireless Headphone Stops transmitting signal

I had the same problem when I plugged it into a new HDTV. The problem was that the sound on the TV was set too low. The transmitter has a feature that automatically turns off when the signal is off or too low. Try turning up the TV volume to a high/higher level and it should solve your problem. Using the headphone jack with the white input allows you to use the headphones while bypassing the TV speakers.

Tv won't switch on following power being turned off/on by electrician installing external light

Have you tried different electrical outlets? Maybe the circuit breaker for your particular outlet blew when the electrician turned the power back on. Or maybe the electrician disconnected power to that particular outlet.

Also try leaving tv unplugged for 30 minutes or so, then plugging back in [to a known good outlet] to see if it will turn on.

Magnavox 19MD358D experienced a power surge, will not turn on. What are the steps to troubleshoot?

The Maganvox TV was still under warranty, I called 1-800-705-2000 and talked with a TV Tech. He instructed me to unplug the TV for one minute. This is called a "hard-reset". I waited for one minute, plugged the TV directly into the outlet, turned the TV on and it worked.
The reason I plugged the TV directly into the outlet and not the power strip, is because I think the fuse burned out in the power-strip.

Try this (may not work):

1. UNPLUG power from TV at wall outlet.
2. Turn ON the TV (with no power cable plugged in).
3. Plug power cable back in (at wall outlet)
4. Turn ON TV (don't use remote this time).

Hope this works!

Emerson LCD 32" TV....Model # LC320EM82....Power problem, powers up and powers right back off almost instantly....i have tried to google a solution and so many people are having the same solution but...

Okay!First i need to isolate your electrical outlet is working. Use another Video/Audio component(ex. dvd player) and plug the power cord into the TV outlet,be sure it has nothing to do with the outlet.
If the outlet is working properly,Unplug the TV power cord and wait for 1 minute before you plug it back in the outlet.Turn on the TV MANUALLY without the remote control and see if the power stays on,if not, sorry, you need it to be repair.Don't waste more time on it. If you only purchase it for few months with a reputation retailer, there is no reason NOT to call them up,cause it should be still under warranty?

Terk wireless transmitter

Hi Sleopard,

Wireless transmitters should allow broadcasts of a single source such as a VCR, DVD player, or cable boxes. They normally wouldn’t be able to transmit something like a cable signal to your television. One way this could work is if you connected a cable box right below your outlet and then connected the cable box to your transmitter. If your transmitter has a infrared extender you may be able to change channels by pointing your remote at the wireless receiver.

27 inch Panasonic TAU tv won't turn on, then sparks when you unplug and replug it in

You first need to rplace the outlet if it sparks where the surge protector is plugged in as it should not spark for any reason. then you need to make sure thast its not the outlet causing your problem by running an long extensition corn or moving the set to a differant outlet.
