Question about Cameras
What should this setting be at
I guess you wanted this one in audio equipment, not between digital camera's. First, try to balance the arm on 0 when you placed the element, so it does not go one way or he other, then put the scale on 1,5 (grams that is) after thaw you turn the knob right of the base of the arm to 1,5. That should do the trick. If the manual of your PU element says force can be between 1 and 2, you also can start with 2 grams on the arm and 2 on the dail.

Tips for a great answer:
Apr 14, 2011 | Denon DP-47F Turntable
Make a note of the tracking force setting.
Make sure the turntable is level.
Unplug the power to the turntable.
Using the tonearm elevation control, raise the tonearm.
Manually move the tonearm in toward the platter.
Manually rotate the platter ClockWise a few turns to disengage any cueing mechanisms.
Set the Stylus Pressure/Tracking setting to 0.
Disengage the tonearm elevation control. The tonearm will either float or drop. This is why we have no power, just in case it hits the platter.
Adjust the counterweight until the tonearm floats exactly horizontal. Use the flat portion of the tonarm rest as a gauge.
Return the tonearm to its rest.
Dial in the prescribed tracking force on the Stylus Pressure/Tracking control. Play records.
