Well im tryin to disable my ipod and ive held dwn the sleep button and the home button untile the apple symbol came on and it still says conect to itunes.. i dnt hve itunes how can i undisable my ipod

Just reset it again by holding both buttons down. When you see the apple logo, let go. If it still says connect to iTunes, then you HAVE to connect it to iTunes and restore it back to factory settings.

How do I delete songs

More info please. Without it I offer this.

Have your iTunes on your computer. Open iTunes and update your music. i.e. delete the songs you wish to delete. Then set your iTunes to sync to your iPod (make sure you don't have it set to sync the other way). With iTunes open, plug your iPod into a USB port and the computer should sync back to the iPod and mirror your iTunes files.

Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many general iPod problems. If you don't to use iTunes to manage your iPod files. You can use this iPod file manager, it will not erase the existing files on your iPod, hope it helps you.

Itouch conect problem

jus go through the previous posts and you will find the solution...anyways here it is:
  1. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPod touch to turn off.
  2. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to iPod. When you reconnect the USB to iPod, the device should then power on.
  3. Continue holding the Home button while iPod starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
  4. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message:
  5. Restore and it'll download ~240mb firmware and you're done
