I need a comcast code for a honeywell avanza tv. I have the code for the tv but i need one for the box to change channels. Please help

Connect the TV to the Comcast box using an HDMI cable, then set input on the TV to HDMI - that's all. You then select channels on the Comcast box , not the TV (although the TV remote can be programmed to change channels on the cable box)>

The Comcast remote only changes channels on the cable box. not the tv itself. If you have a cable box then the tv will need to be turned to channel 3 or 4.

I assume this TV has no Audio In and Video In, from your Cable box there's an antenna out or cable out, connect that to your TV's antenna in, and make sure that your TV is tuned in to channel 3 or 4, try those two channels. You can only change channel thru your box, your TV channel is alway's on channel 3 or 4.

I have a Trutech 10 inch under cabinet DVD/TV and needed the codes for the new Digital Adapter that Comcast is forcing everyone to move to. The short answer is that there isn't a single code that will work for what we all need. After much research I have an answer. It's largely unsatisfactory, but its somewhat of a work around. If you use code 10451 you can get the channel up, channel down, the number pad and the "last" button to work. To get volume functional, change the volume lock on the comcast box. To do this:
1. With the TV on, manually set the volume to a medium high setting
2. With the comcast remote, press and hold SET until the red light blinks twice.
3. Enter 9-9-3 (red light blinks twice)
4. Press and release the digit 1 (red light will blink 4 times)

Now, in addition to channel control, you have volume control. I can't do anything about the power button or other functions. However, this at least makes the remote functional.

Controlling the TV power and volume is probably all you'll be able to do with that control. The Comcast remotes are meant to be used with their converter boxes, and normally people want to change channels on the box while the TV stays on the box output channel (usually 3, sometimes 4). The remote's channel up and down buttons and number keypad only send out the codes recognized by the converter box. You'll need to fall back to the TV remote if you want to control more than power and volume.
