make sure the power save setting is not on it turns the tv on slower > see if picture settings such as contrast and brightness are all the way up > or picture profiles are on right setting .e.g cinema is usually dark screen

Turn off set, unplug power. Remove back cover. On brown circuit board left of center, unplug connector PJ63A. Plug in power, but don't electrocute yourself! If you no longer get the continuously blinking red light, hit the power button. If it comes on, the SEINE module is bad and must be replaced.

You can access the SD slot without having the back cover off of the TV. The SD slot is covered with a L-shaped bracket held on the TV with a single Phillips screw. The plate is located in the recessed part of the back panel to the right of the HDMI port. Good Luck
