I have videos on my gigaware 8GB video mp3 player but the videos can't play

Go to my computer, then click on your mp3. Click the storage in your mp3 player. Folders should pop up like music, pictures, etc. Your going to have to make a video folder by clicking a empty space in window and selecting new and the folder. Name the folder Video (make sure the Video is capitalized). The video format the movie/music video needs to be in is .WMV make sure you put the video in the video folder for it to work. This works on all windows operating systems.

Boot up with linux, erase partition on protable device. reboot into windows, go to control panel system administrative tools, computer management, storage, creat new partition on drive, reformat drive using software that came with your device. this should repair the problem. it worked on mine!

Music video problems

Music videos have a copytight protection system that the player does not accept - you would have to buy an illegal license-stripper to make them work on that player. Full-length DVD's will have to be split into 15-minute chunks. The only videos this player will relaly play are short YouTube-type videos.

Philips gogear SA3245 mp3 audio/video player

Most GoGear's will work with Windows XP Only - several will work with Vista, but may require a firmware upgrade. NONE will work with Windows ME or below. Sorry.

There is software available from Philips website, but it does not include drivers for legacy Operating Systems.

Hey

I'm not sure that this will work for every type of mp3 player, but on an Insignia you have a few options. One is that you can download and figure out how to work a system like Rapsody, which should usually work okay but it's sort of a hassle if you don't have it already. What I would recommend is to (make sure you've first plugged your mp3 into your computer) open the video file. You can do this by 1) go to your start menu, 2) double click on "My Computer", 3) double click "Insignia Video Player", 4) open the internal memory, and open the video file (labed "videos"). Then once you have that file opened you can just copy and paste your video from it's home file to your video file.

Sorry that this explanation was so long, but I wanted to make it pretty clear. This usually works IF THE VIDEO IS IN A SUPPORTED FORMAT.

HOW DO I GET VIDEOS ON THE SYSTEM

If you have the Creative Video Converter, that usually works. If you don't have it, it is on Creative's web site.
