Look for a fixed coil and put some epoxy on it.

Philips 47" lcd tv #060958514738, it is less than

what you need to do is go into the equliser and adjust the settings till you are happy with it this is the only way to do it i would also maybe advise a surround sound system for around 70 dollars as you said your picture is great you may as well get surround sound to go with your home cinema experience the problem is it depends on ur hearing you may be able to adjust the equliser this would solve anyones problem but with some people their hearing is a bit more selective the tiny little speakers used in these systems make annoying background noisethe only thing i could advise is a surround sound sytem if you still notice it when you adjust the equliser but trust me it is not ur tv it is how good ur hearing is i hate a tv with tiny speakers

Kp 61HS30 TV Had the tv since 2002. been a great tv. Just recently it started making a noise when you turn it on. Noise fades away after about 10 seconds. Noise kind of sounds like a dvd player trying...

If you locate the audio board, check for dried up electrolytic capacitors and dry joints around the output IC itself.
That should fix your fault.

I have a wd52628

This area of the TV is a cause of some expense in rear projection.
The fan controls the temperature of the lamp. An obstruction keeps the fan from coming up to speed.
The power block controls the power the lamp uses. This helps keep the glass of the lamp from breaking breaking.
An arc is a badly mounted lamp or a lamp defect.
Dust build up can cause overheating.
Most of this area cannot be serviced by a non-technician.

No Picture but have sound

OK I got my first TV, first to repair myself that is, and I have no training at all but am kind of a tech dork wannabe. So I checked and I have sound but no signal through the TV tuner, so I hooked up my Zenith VCR to aux 1 and sound with signal appeared, the VCR tuner still works :) so I am leaning toward the TV tuner. It is visibly damaged, and I'm hoping it is as simple as a broken connection. I also noticed a vertical flash and pattern of horizontal lines when it is turned off (white). sooooo I push on.... help!!!!!!!!!!!!! :>}

Sounds like you have a bad speaker,or at the most the audio amp needs changing. Get old speaker out of another tv or stereo.

Funny noise on LG TV

This is a problem with alot of TV sets. Most of the time, women can hear this alot better then men because they have better hearing then men. There is what we call in the buisness, a "singing coil". The problem could be simply the coil is singing and will need to be replaced because the windings of wire that makes up the coil is not wrapped tight enough or this noise could be the sign of future problems to come as a bad switching power supply capacitor or a capacitor going bad. I am sorry to say there is not alot an end user can do except call out a tech to have a look. Good Luck

Buzzing Noise and TV picture is yellow

Andy, I'm thinking the buzz is from the deflection coil (yoke) on the neck of the tube or the power supply. Probably not the high voltage as you can hear the "buzz". If it's really that annoying, you can take a length of rubber tubing (no metal) and listen to the buzz coming from the chassis kind of like a stethoscope. STAY AWAY FROM THE HIGH VOLTAGE, please. The yellow picture sounds like a blue chroma failure. A tube can be rejuvinated if need be but that's a job for a pro. Hope this helps.
