What makes my jeep battery gauge spike?

By "spike", do you mean voltage rises above about 13.8 and stays there for a while? Or do you mean that the voltage randomly rises very quickly and falls back to normal immediately, perhaps often, or do you mean that it rises when you accelerate the engine and falls when you release the pedal?

The alternator generates more power with higher engine speeds, and at idle it may not be generating quite enough to satisfactorily charge the battery. So... step on the pedal, the voltage may rise.

It also has to generate a lot more power when the battery's lower than normal - like when the Jeep has just been started.

And... it needs to generate higher voltage when the weather outside is cold than when it's hot out.

And... as you use one or another electrical feature of the Jeep - heater blower, wipers, AC, lights, stereo, etc etc etc... each draws power from the battery, so the alternator has to adjust itself to accomodate that power draw.

Ineed a controller for jazzy 1103 power chair. the 1103 has a seat that rises so the controller has 2 xtra buttons one to raise seat one 2 lower where can I locate one for purchase?

Angel Did you buy the chair or was it gotten through Medicare? If Medicare paid for the chair then they will pay most of the repair costs. If you purchased the chair you can go to pridemobility.com and look up your chair or call 1-800-800-8586 and ask for Tech support for a Jazzy chair and they should be able to help you. If Medicare paid for your chair your Provider where you got the chair can order the joystick for you and bill Medicare or you can buy the joystick through them (provider) Hope this helps you

Cubase 4

During your computer's boot sequence, watch for a notice telling you which key to strike to ENTER SETUP. This will take you to your BIOS management. Find and disable Intel SpeedStep, C1E, or EIST, or related PowerNow! settings on AMD processors. These power saving settings are designed to slow down or shut down one or more cores of multi-core processors during times when the operating system thinks that the processing power is unnecessary, but running advanced DAW software such as Cubase draws power at very near the full system capacity, and it takes a long time to reboot the temporarily suspended processor cores. During this core reboot lagtime, Cubase is often deprived of the processing power needed to route audio signals through its complex internal bussing system (Steinberg's patented VST system link), and this power loss causes it to crash. If you disable the SpeedStep settings in your BIOS, you may notice a very gentle rise in your electric bill, as your computer's processor will be running at full capacity all the time, but you can always re-enable SpeedStep when you're not planning on recording anything.
