Remove steering wheel lock 1985 chevy celebrity v6

no take off the cover in the middle of the steering wheel being able to access the bolt to remove the steering wheel. If you don\'t have a steering wheel puller you can rent one from a auto parts store but i just leave the steering wheel bolt on a few threads and hit it with a hammer pulling back on the steering wheel. It should come off after 4 or 5 hits. then take out the blinker assembly (couple phillip screws). So

now you have access to the pin. If you can\'t get that pin out with a needle nose or plan on putting it back in then you\'ll have to dig in deeper. There ya go for the short versioin. Don\'t listen to people when they say jerk the wheel really hard to break that pin, you;ll just end up breaking other things and don\'t think ya need that. but taking out that pin wont do anything (the only thing behind it is a spring) Good luck.

How to change a door speaker in a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup

This is definitely something you can do yourself. Dodge has made it pretty easy to accomplish this with a small amount of tools.
Tools Required:Phillips head screw driver;T-30 sized Torx bit (looks like
Disassembly:First, remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the door, there's one on the left and one on the right.
Then, remove the screw in the small triangular piece of plastic on the top-front of the door panel. This small piece of plastic looks like it's connected to the window, but it's not. The Infinity brand name may be on this piece, if you've got the Infinity speaker system.
The last of the phillips head screws you need to remove is in the middle of the panel, directly behind the door handle.
Now, grab your Torx bit and we're going to remove the door handle. Pull the door handle up, like you're going to open the door, and you should be able to fix your driver behind the handle and unscrew the bit. The door handle should be completely off now.
Next, pull up on the door panel and you'll feel the hooks securing it to the door release. You'll have to pull all the way up and out. Sometimes it will feel stuck and that's because the door lock fist snugly in its hole.
When the door panel comes loose from the door, you'll have to stick your hand behind the panel and disconnect 2 wires running to your control panel (for windows, locks and mirrors). This is done by just pressing the tab on the connector and pulling down. This should not be extremely difficult to remove.
Now that the door panel is free and clear, remove the 4 screws from the speaker and pull it out. There is another connector running to the speaker you will have to disconnect.
Take your new speaker, connect it where you disconnected the old one and put the screws back in.
Re-connect the window and lock connections coming out of the door to the door panel.
Slip the door lock back through it's hole in the panel.
Press the panel against the door tightly and pull the panel downward, the entire panel should feel secure against the door. If it does NOT feel secure and tight all the way around, then pull the panel back up and try it again.
Once the panel's back on, put the screws back in and re-attach the door handle.
Enjoy the music!

Remove any visible screws, arm rest screws to if present. Remove window winder (U clip behind the winder or may have screw in middle or both) Check behind inner door hadle cover. Gently prise at the bottom of the trim & the clips should pop out (try to put the pressure as close to the clips as possible) work your way up and around the trim. You will then feel if anything else is holding it in. The rule is to be gentle so you don't brake things.

My calculator will not respond to anything. The cursor is blinking, but I am not able to shut it off or do anything with it. I took the batteries out and put them back in and it went to the same screen.

Try taking out the batteries and the backup battery that is behind a little door in the battery compartment. You'll need a phillips screwdriver to take the door off.

Leave the back up battery out for at least 10 hours before putting it back in. If this doesn't work, you may want to try replacing the backup battery.

Hope this helps.

Passanger window behind driver, just clicks

can you hear the window regulator go all the way down but just not the window. if so you have lost you window pin it is what holds the window into the guide not a hard job just a little cumbersome. You will have to remove your door panel for that you will need to pry off the door grab bar trim it is tuff just use like a small flat head screw driver or f you can a trim tool called bone tool. there are two phillips screws behind that trim. then there are one or two torx 25 screws that hold on at the bottom of the door panel. then pull the trim piece off there will be little black tabs that hold it on be careful when pulling of it is not as bad as it sounds. then remove the 10 mm bolts around the metal cover. you might have to pull some of the wire harness off to pull that cover away from the door. you will see the bottom of the window. there will be a hole in the middle of the glass this is where you put the window pin. That part most likely you will need to go to dealership for it 5 or 6 dollar part it will come connected in two pieces leave like that until you are ready to put it in the hole. Ok so you have the part the door taken apart. now you see the hole push the pin together slightly just so the smaller one is in the larger one you will need a pair of pliers with a longer nose not needle nose though the kind that open up to two different sizes make it the larger of the two push the pin into the hole center it in the hole make sure the slots of the pin are opposite each other and pointing up and down not sideways. once pin is in halfway take your pliers squeeze the pin together then put the metal cover back in with a few bolts. then push window down into the window regulator that will be the white clip that has a hole in the middle of it which you will need to lower before you pull the metal cover off. once that is down you will be able to pull the panel off. sorry i did not tell you that earlier but i hope you read this whole thing before you try this. ok back to it once you have the pin in the window. push the window down until you hear a loud click that will be the pin locking into the regulator then put it all back together and you are good to go. Good luck.

How to install driver side window regulator

1. Take door panel off by prying off with srew driver moldings for outside mirror, around lock, and door handle, then pry up counsel for power locks, windows, and mirror adjustment and disconnect plugs. Remove three screws located behind arm rest handle, inside where counsel was removed, and bottom middle of door panel. Lift panel and pull slighlty towards you. Disconnect courtesy light, and wire to speaker. This may sound like alot but it goes pretty fast. 2. Peel away plastic and loosen window glass clamps (explaination from above, which are accessable when window is in up position). 3. Disconnect wire to motor, and remove 6 bolts holding guide rails and motor. Lift rails slightly to release from little hangers, which come in handy when putting new one in. 4. You should be able to remove entire window regulator at this point. Surprisingly the window stayed in up position when regulator was removed. 5. Before installing new regulator loosen window glass clamps. Install new by first setting guides in place by using the little hangers. Bolt guides and motor, temporarily connect power window switch and carefully raise window regulator until clamps are resting in place under window glass, tighten clamps. Test before putting panel back on.

Want to remove driver side door panel to gain access to power window motor

first remove the tweeter speker if equipped this comes off easily by gently prying from behind, then remove the small panel behind pull handle you"ll find a screw behind it\remove that, the next part is a little tricky the door grip needs to come off to achieve this place a small flat screwdriver at the top of the handle and pry forward the turn handle counterclockwise and this will release it from the clips you"ll then find 2 screws one at the top other at the bottom of door grip remove those and then gently pry from the bottom of the door panel to release the retaining clips thats it

2001 oldsmobile alero window off track,

first remove the door panel there are three screws that need to be removed first 2 under the inside door handle and 1 on the lower left hand side behind a reflector then pull off the panel it will be held on by push clips, once inside move the plastic weather bearrer to the side ,run the window half way down you should see 2 window holding brackets pull the window up so you can drop it in the brackets, first get some black window adhesive fill the brackets with adhesive put window in brackets and roll it up and leave it up for 24 hrs.If the brackets are broken you will have to replace the whole window motor assemly which you can get on line for 89.00 not the 250.00 at dealer and you can install it yourself its easy to do.
