Time and date will not reset, does not show correct time and date

I was told by a Primos rep that the internal "watch type" battery in mine is dead. It can be replaced but is a royal pain to do it and you must be very good at soldering in small spaces

No correct time and date

The manual, does not say a thing about date and time, so my guess is only when transfered to the computer time and date is added.
I sometimes use a GPS, that when not connected to enough satelites prints an old date and wrong time to the pictures. I do correct that with a programm called "EXIF Date Changer" because after some time you never will know the correct date, because you forgot the GPS receiver messed things up.

How do you set the time and date so that each photo will have it posted

Firstly, set time and date in the camera:
1. Display MENU.
2. Click on each of the tabs until youfind a dropdown with Date/Time on it.
3. Click on this and follow the prompts.
4. On completion press OK. The date and time will be effective from the time you press OK.
I am not aware of any Canon camera that does enable the entering of time/date on all images.
However, it is recorded in the EXIF data that all digital cameras record with every image.
You can use ZoomBrowser - a software program that comes on the CD with Canon Cameras - to write the date/time on selected images. The date and time written will be the actual date and time the image was recorded on your camera i.e. the date and time you took the photo.
With the image open you should be able to find the time/date option.

Can panasonic lumix dmc ls80 record the date of each photo?

You will find that the date and time and a whole bunch of other information is located within your photos.
To get this information all you need to do is right click on the image and then click on properties and then click on details tab.
It pays to make sure the date and time are set correctly on your camera for it to mean anything.

Setting Date/Time on Polaroid a530

I contacted Polaroid help desk and they were clueless. They said there is no way to set the time after messing around with the camera for 10 minutes.

When you pull the photos off the camera it does record a date and time. I believe they forgot to add the option in the setup menu so you cannot get to it. I asked for them to send me a differant camera and the help desk rep laughed.

I guess thats what I get for buying a cheap camera.

Canon Pwershot A720 Date and Time Function

If you are trying to get the date/time displayed in your images, you need to set the recording size (L, M1, M2, M3, S, Postcard) to Postcard. You also need to turn the Date Stamp on in the Recording Menu (Use the Menu button, select the recording tab -- silhouette of a camera, and scroll down to Date Stamp).

Can this model record without a memory card?

This model comes with 8.9MB of flash memory built in, which means you can record without using a memory card. Even when using flash memory, however, you still need to set the correct date before recording. If you do not set the date, certain functions may not operate and proper image recording may be impossible. Also, folders created automatically by the camera will not be named correctly if you do not set the date
