Why has google quick start taken over as my home page and wont let me go back to my normal home page????

You might have a piece of Malware that has changed your proxy settings. Click Tools, Internet Options, Connections Tab & uncheck the Proxy Server box if checked. Also Click Tools, then Manage Add-ons. Disable any Toolbars or search providers that don't seem right. Run a scan using the free version of Malwarebytes.

You have to access your browser's preferences and change the Default Home Page setting. Just delete that link and add yours (eg. www,google.com).

Aol took over want google back as home page

If your using IE go up to the top right coner and click on the icon that looks like a gear. This is the toolbar of IE and then tab down to internet options and here is where you can erase the home page that AOL hyjacked. Just enter your address: www.google.com in this area and "apply" the change and then your homepage should pop up google again when you open your browser. This also works for FireFox and other browsers. regards, Dennis
