SOURCE: Why does my ah484 blue

The blue status light flashes because the protection system of the power source - the one that converts the 24 volts coming from the converter on the mains in all the voltages needed by the preamplifier and input controllers (12v, 5v and 3.5v) is active - a part inside the unit has failed - most likely it's related to the KP2 controller since the warning light signals hat is nonoperational. This is a hardware fault, no reset would fix it. BTW there is no reset in this device since there is no processor to be reseted.
The only wy to fix that is to open the unit, test the components, identify and replace the failed one. This is going to be a very complex and delicate job, ask a quote before accepting or you might find out that it would have been cheaper just to buy a new one.

We have DMC-10RS intercom system in our house. All them squeal when the power source is on. I had to unplug the hub to make them quiet. I cked the power supply and its putting out 12.2V,ok. Any ideas what...

Check power supply for proper voltage of 12 volts DC.
-If there are multiple Hubs, check voltage on all Hubs
If the voltage is not 12V, try replacing the power supply
226888 Power Supply
-If the voltage is ok, disconnect 1 room station at a time. If there a multiple Hubs, disconnect the last Hub. As each room station and/or door station is removed, have someone else listen to see if the squeal goes away. There is a chance that one bad room or door station is causing the issue.
oIf the squealing stops, add in the previous stations that had been disconnected. If all stations other than that room station are ok, do not hook up that station. There are no replacement stations available for this system. If the squealing continues with any of the stations hooked up, there is a bad HUB. DMC-10 Hubs are NLA and cannot be repaired. My xbox power box is displaying the amber light and the xbox wont switch on is this related??

An orange light is illuminated on the power supply for one of two reasons. Either the console is turned off or the power supply is disconnected from the console. The orange light means that the power supply is in standby.
Even if the console is turned off, the power supply light may still be illuminated orange. This can occur if the power supply cord is not fully inserted into the power socket of the console.

I put a new car stereo and system in my car. Now the parking lights won't turn off. Is this a security mode on the car? Or is it from the wiring? It is a 2006 Kia Spectra EX.

Usually the brown wire is for illumination. If you have supplied power to this wire some how it will keep these lights on. If you got wiring schematics with the stereo recheck your work.

My dell desktop 530s stopped working and now the fan only turns on and the power button is illuminated in yellow, not blue. Please how I can fix this problem. Thanks

This is the explanation according to the service manual.

This is a system fault error condition, including the power supply. Only the +5VSB rail on the power supply is working correctly.

  • Ensure all power cables are securely connected to the system board.
  • Ensure the main power cable and front panel cable are securely connected to the system board.
note.gif NOTE:
If the system was abnormally turned off, you need to disconnect and plug in the AC power cord. Then turn on the system. Otherwise, you may see an incorrect power light state.

You either have a bad power supply or something is shorting out your power supply. Disconnect all devices from your computer except the monitor, keyboard and mouse. Also check your USB ports to see if any are damaged.

Everything in 4wd seems to work except the 4wd part :)

The locking front hubs are vacuum actuated. You need to inspect the vacuum supply to the hubs. I would provided a schematic of the system had you provide the vehicle year

The 'protect light' comes on Fender PD150 Portable Sound System

The protect circuit is activated by a current sensing transformer in the *input* of the power supply. If any of the subassemblies of the unit (or all of them in combination) draw excess current then the protect light will illuminate and the power supply shut down to prevent any damage to the system.

The circuitry in the power supply is fairly robust as well as fuse protected so it is unlikely that the power supply itself has failed. More than likely one of your output power transistors has been shorted and it is easy to check this yourself if you are interested in doing so.

Furthermore if you follow a few *simple* precautions you can do this safely and confidently.

Post again on this thread if you are interested and I will spew the details.
