Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
No blue light, nothing on the screen & no sound.
Your video chip over heated and popped up. This happens when the cooling paste runs out and dust bunnies start to form inside the fan. This is a comment problem with the DV2000, DV6000, DV9000 and a few other models HP has. They're a few youtube videos that show you how to reflow the video chip yourself. You have to take the motherboard out and heat up the video chip. Heating gun is the best way. You'll also need some cooling paste and don't forget to clean out the fan from dust bunnies. It will last maybe around 3 months to a years before you have to do it again. Also buy a laptop fan. Hope this helps
