My 3com 3cr860-95 custom programed router fell off the wall shelf and busted the power interface plug loose from the controller board. Can it be effectively reattached? At what price and what time...

if you want a quick repair, you can solder the power adapter wires dirrectly to the circuit board (assuming the board is not cracked) in about 15 minuts performed by a good technician... if you want it with the original connector it could take a week to order the connector than an hour to unsolder the broken connector and replace it with the new one (again assuming the board is not cracked and the adapter plug is OK as well)...

Supposed to be, it can be repaired without replace the board. Your circuit board / motherboard is can be replace with new one. But the price may be already half of your phone price. Regards,

My circuit board has a short on the soldering for the DC rectifier that supplies the carpet cleaning motor. Where can I order a new circuit board. Miele S251i

Just a suggestion, but you could try to re-solder the connection on the board. some of the circuit boards did not have enough solder on the board coming from the factory.

That being said, if the component is damaged due to the burning, I suggest you contact your local Miele dealer and have them order you a circuit board for the unit.

IF the unit is less than 5 years old as well, that part should be covered under warranty. Do NOT solder it, just have them replace the part.

Good luck

X9G NAGAIV goes black; can display, but wont.

Took it apart, all the way down to the boards and first examined the capacitors on the power board7d50dd4.jpg. It turns out it was a cracked metallized polyester film cap (C10), not a blown electrolytic capacitor. Ordered a new one and some transitors from DigiKey. Dont know if that is the complete fix, but the cracked cap certainly isnt supposed to be there.

F-connector pulled out of back of tv

If by circuit board you mean a piece of copper circuit track it is still quite possible to repair quite cheaply.

If you mean a real part of the circuit board from the actual silver box (demodulator) then again these are pretty common and not too expensive to get hold of and repair

If however you mean part of the main circuit board for the TV it may be possible to repair bu you may be looking at more cost than you wish to spend.

If you feel competant in soldering then the first two are pretty simple.

You would either work out what part of the track was broken and run a small lead from where it is on the board to where it was supposed to go.

If its the silver box there are numbers on it from which you can order a new one, remove the old one and simply replace.

Sony CDP-CX300 How To Replace Drive Belts?

The Sony call center says the two belts are the same size. Supposedly, there is a third belt "under the motor board" but I have not been able to find it. That is the 42x1.2 (4219362601). The two easy ones to replace are 421606101 and only cost 1.95 from Sony.

I have a 37inch insignia

Some people I contacted said it has faulty capacitors that need to be relaced. Available at radio shack.
Most likely causes in order:
  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

To replace capacitors:
  1. Keep yourself "grounded" when working with the circuit board. Static electricity will destroy electronic components.

  2. When replacing the Capacitors, press them "down" onto the circuit board as far as they will go, hold them down, solder into place and clip the excess terminal lengths flush with solder. Only by doing this will the metal shield (little silver box) slide down and over the circuit board during re-assembly. There is not a lot of clearance when doing this, as the 105C Capacitors are slightly longer that the originals. With minimal effort everything does fit back together.

  3. Use ONLY 105º C capacitors with a voltage rating of 35 V.

  4. Re-insert the DM circuit board into the Mother board; press virmly and ensure a proper seat of the DM board. Next, slide the metal case down and over the DM circuit board.

How to replace batteries on CMM1000 (diagram?)

I have a CMM1000 which needs new batteries. I have pretty much figured out how to replace them, but I haven't found replacements yet. Please let me know where you found them! You need to remove the (black) top cover - there are 6 screws involved. 2 screws are in recesses toward the front on top. You will probably need to remove debris to access these. They are Torx type, but if you don't have Torx bits, they have a slot which works with a flat head screwdriver if you're careful.  The next 2 screws are toward the back down at either side. These are also the Torx type and they have star washers. The last 2 screws are up in the charging area. They are regular phillips and they attach to the circuit board. With all screws removed the top cover will come free. Be gentle though - there are wires from the charging meter that are still attached. You have to maneuver the cover over the height adjustment handle, then flip it up to reveal the circuit board. Disconnect the red and black wires from the terminals marked "TB2 Fuel Gauge Red" and "TB3 Fuel Gauge Blk" The top is now free and can be set aside. There is a push-fit block of styrofoam which can be removed and set aside. You should now be able  access the battery terminals which can be removed with a nut driver or socket wrench.  There is a jumper wire also. Make a note of the polarity of all connections. At this point the old batteries should slide out from their styrofoam cradle (I haven't actually tried this yet).  From this point you will reverse the steps to install your new batteries. Hope this helps.

Maytag Nepture MAH5500BWW burned control board

ummmm, honestly ive never replaced just the board(im an authorized maytag servicer) so our replacements have always been new, and in this case the repair kit containing both board and motor. that being said, i cant see a reason as to why you couldnt relace just the board itself, ,Ireally never found the reason why the board would burn out, but, as far as repair kit im certain that they were trying to get all circuit boards and motors back to only one model, instead of having 5 or six different boards andmotors, this will bring them all to the most recent board and motor, never was an issue with themotor, jusat that you couldnt wire in the new board without the neew wiring. As long as its the same board i cant see why that wont work. as far as the "wax motor" that was a seperate issue burning out the Top control board, total seperate then your problem,., dont really see an issue with installing your "used board"
