Question about Rockford Fosgate Punch 801S Car Audio Amplifier
Will i need a capacitor? 2004 pontiac vibe. Also I want to run 4 12's at 300 watt rms wired at 2ohm. Wire from channel 1 to sub one them directly to sub 2. channel 2 to to sub three then straight to sub 4.
If your alternator and battery are in good condition, you probably don't need a capacitor. At maximum output, the 801S will need to draw a little over 30 amps at 12.8V. The specifications call for 8-gauge power and ground wiring and a 40A primary fuse. The Vibe's electrical system should be able to handle it OK.
Hope this helps.
