System disks startup

Create a Windows 7 System Repair Disc:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2083-system-repair-disc-create.html

"This will show you how to create a Windows 7 system repair disc to use to boot to the system recovery options if you don't have a Windows installation disc, can't find your Windows installation disc, or can't access the recovery options provided by your computer manufacturer."

If you do not have access to either disc: Windows 7 - Repair Disc download

a) Insert the Windows 7 System Repair DVD or Installation DVD and reboot.

b) Select the correct keyboard input method and click 'Next'.

d) Click 'Repair and restart' and reboot again to the Windows 7 System Repair environment.

e) Click 'Next' at the keyboard selection prompt and when the 'System Recovery Options' screen appears verify that the "Use recovery tools that can help fix problems starting Windows" is selected.

My Presario CQ60 is stuck in recovery manager mode. I keeps going to startup repair.

Problems starting up a PC can be tricky to fix, since Windows hasn't had a chance to load its arsenal of troubleshooting tools. Some people simply give up and reinstall Windows.

Startup Repair can prevent a time-consuming reinstallation by diagnosing and repairing problems that prevent Windows from starting.

Startup Repair is designed to start automatically if Windows detects a startup problem. For more information about using Startup Repair, and what to do if it doesn't start automatically

here is my solution... when you boot your window when you're middle in dos loading press F8 and select boot in safe mode... then when you are in windows click start --> all programs ---> accessories---> sytem tools ---> system restore... hope you back up your windows.... try to restore your window in earlier time...

HOPE IT HELPS AND GOD BLESS

My computer wont start and said windows detected problems and unable to run startup and cannt be cured by startup repair 9 problems were detected example is the bad driver and numbers with like this...

I think it is not the motherboard is the problem. Its the startup in windows, there's might some startup components that is corrupt due improper shutdown or power interruption. The best way to fix it is to reinstall the windows operating system, its so rare you can repair the start up in DOS.Beware that all of you data in C- (a disk partition where your windows installed) will be lost.

Startup repair won't repair

It sounds like your leaving your Installation Disk in the drive. Take that out and run safe mode, then just plug in your flash drive as normal and it should detect it and you can copy your files to it. If not, use s CD and burn the files you need on them then you can proceed with Wiping the drive. If this fails, Install XP but there is a option to not have the drive formatted thus this keeps all files in tact. Reinstall XP like this, take the files you need and then reformat and reinstall XP and you should be fine. After doing all this, run a virus scan and have it run regularly because it may have been a virus that caused the problem to begin with.

Hope This Helps

Trouble code po442

P0442 onepx.gif EVAP System Small Leak (0.040") Detected

EVAP fuel tank or canister vapor hoses leaking or damaged
EVAP system component leaking, damaged or has failed
Fuel tank cap is loose, or the cap release pressure is incorrect
Leak detection pump damaged or leaking

You can try the gas cap first, if that does not help you will need to take it to a repair shop, Small leaks are very hard to find. If you want to know what turns on the light here it is.

Cold engine startup (ECT sensor from 40-90F and within 10F of the BTS input at startup), fuel level more than 1/2 full, engine running, EVAP leak test "on", and the PCM detected a leak greater than 0.040 but less than 0.080" somewhere in the system.
This code sets in 2 Trip(s).
