Craftmans Snow Thrower 247887001 Tire Flat. How to Refill.

The tires are probably tubeless type. If the bead is broken ( not sealed to the rim) the tire will not inflate. Taking the weight off the tire will some times allow the bead to seal against the rim and allow tire to be inflated. You can also put a small ratchet strap around the tread of the tire and tighten it up. This will squash the tire and make the bead seal up. MAKE SURE to loosen strap as soon as bead seals and tire begins to inflate. Hope this helps.

I have new tires on my 2008 Ford Fusion but no traction in the snow

what type of tire did you get?? hiway tire..or a mud/snow tire..there is a difference..you can usually tell by the tread pattern.. a highway tire is designed to help remove water to the sides and away from the rubber facing..and has consistent lines in it.. a traction tire has blocks on the tread surface that gives the loose snow some where to go when driven over ..and this tread is self cleaning as the tire rotates..the tread is normally a bit deeper also..just because they are new dont mean they are the right ones..you may also need to invest in a set of traction grippers that are put on the wheel for deep snow..(like snow chains)..however check on your state and local laws allowing usage before purchasing..the newer ones are a type of cable system that has ferrules on the road surface..

Can I install 14' snow tires and 14" snow wheels on my Kia Sedona that come standard with 15" wheels and Tires

Likely not. A fourteen inch wheel will likely not clear the calipers on the front wheels.

My 2007 Nissan Sentra has terrible traction. The tires have 20 thousand miles on them.

most of the original tires on these cars aren't much good in foul weather after 15-20,000 miles, you need to replace those tires with ones with good all-weather or a true snow tire tread. I'm assuming you have been having snow.

Looking to replace all season tires, what are my best options when I live in the mountains? occassional big dumps of snow but with global warming not cold enough to warrant snow tires. most of my driving...

If you have too much money, I will take some off your hands. All season tires are all season tires. If you want snow tires get a new set of rims then keep snow tires in your garage for the winter and all season tires for the rest of the year. If you cant drive in the snow cant help you with that.

Back tires sliding in the snow

Snow tires.

All season tires are jacks of all trades but masters of none. You might find that some all season tires are great in snow but then when you drive over wet snow or any ice it's like you're on your rims.

For your car I recommend Yokohama Iceguard. They aren't cheap but then body work and tow trucks aren't either.

Is snow tire better than all season tire in winter?

Snow tires are better for Winter But, Change them back out for Spring or they will not last very long on Regular Asphalt. They are made from a Softer Rubber than all Season Tires. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Needs snow tires?

This car is great in the snow. It has front wheel drive; however you should buy FOUR snow tires for safety's sake!
