Question about Nintendo 64 Console
How do I hook up the vcr/dvd player and Nintendo 64 to an older tv that has cable right now. There is only a in jack in the back and then a red and yellow jacks in front. Do I need a convertor box or an ab switch?
You N64 should have the cable with yellow/red/white connections(RCA) Those should plug into the VCR ports that say Input. Then run that to your TV through the screw on Coax cable.

SOURCE: How to hook up nintendo 64?
take the cable in the vcr out and put the nintendo piece in and at the back of the purple box on the nintendo cable cord should be an extra link where you fix the tv cable on.

You need a switch (transformer) to connect it to the incoming signal antenna screws. You will probably need to adapt it to a cable tv plug. The wires you connected are for the sound.

To see the game when you have it on you need to change the input setting on the tv. to do this you push tv/vidio on front of tv or the input button. You did not give tv make or model # to help you more
