May someone please send the service mode specifications for a Samsung LED 40 inch TV UA40EH5000R?

I don't have service mode specifications but I do have a Samsung and looked around for how to get it in service mode some time ago because the HDMI cables somehow disconnected themselves a lot. Thought it was an electronic problem but it turned out to be a parenting problem instead SO I have never used this information and can not vouch for it. I cut and paste it from a note I copied from a forum entry to use at your discretion:
First post:
To enter "Service Mode" Press the remote - control keys in this sequence :
From Standby Info-Menu-Mute-Power On
- The buttons are active in the service mode.
Remote - Control Key : Power, Arrow Up, Arrow Down, Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Menu, Enter, Number Key(0~9)
Careful though there are things you shouldn't touch in this menu.

Another post:
Method 1
Put TV on standby and then push in series these buttons on the remote: 'info, menu, mute, power' the TV will then turn itself on and display a menu.
Method 2
Turn the power off. On the remote, press Mute followed by 1, 8, 2, Power in sequence.
Method 3
With the TV in standby, press the {DISPLAY} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 4
With the TV in standby, press the {SLEEP} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 5
With the TV in standby, press the {DISPLAY} {MENU} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 6
With the TV in standby. On the remote, press Mute followed by 1, 1, 9, Enter in sequence.
Samsung LCD Monitor Service Menu Instructions

End quote.
Good luck. Just a basic suggestion you probably don't need: keep track of any changes made by writing them down so you can put it all back if you have to.

Hi! Hope this will give hint... I understand some televisions nowadays are fully controlled using remote but there is always a standby power button for the television remote function. If the there is no power after turning on using the standby power button please check power cables, supplies and fuses. If the television has a standby power waiting the remote to act on but no response after pushing the remote's power button check the battery and its contact. Goodluck.

Denon AVR-3200 wont go into standby mode

Not sure what you mean by standby mode. The power button on most of the audio remotes I deal with merely turns the equipment on and off.

Stereo amplifier remains in standby mode

You should be able to find a Universal remote that will cancel the standby function.

Wont go on standby

Possible that the processor section needs to be checked. When the remote is clicked to standby and if there is no response even if the remote is working perfectly with other modes then the power - off button and IR trigger from the remote must be checked to work. Use a mobile camera to see if the remote is emitting IR with the power off button pressed. If so the processor section and the standby out must be traced.

Daenyx DN-423F television doesn't power up with remote or on button. Unplugged it and moved it prior to problem.

While you moved the set did any damage occur on the power plu, did it get pulled or did the plug get caught up. check this if there is no power at all / no standby . If the standby come on and you are not getting a trigg, first please check the battteries in them remote, check if there is any obstruction to the remote to the TV for the IR to work. if all this seems fine then we will need to open up to look within for any damage while it moved on to the board.could be silly, maybe a connection/ connector jumped. Opne carefully after you had disconnected and check to tightened all connectors. recheck with power, if the problems still lingers, use a multimeter to test for voltage on the main power panel , power to the processor section,do not tamper on sensitive circuits with the multimeter unless you are sure. The fault could only be around this. Hope you do it right. Good day

'standby' mode and akb error number

AKB 66 in self diagnostic test means...TV goes to standby (shut-off) for AKB problem 66 times. AKB is White-Balance signal and it is not proper or maintained in your TV. So error signal produced and TV goes to shut-down state.
Regardnig Standby button, its available on remote only. If you push TV Power switch, TV will switch ON, push it again to OFF TV. Power Button on remote set TV in standby status and you dont need to push power button of TV itself.
