About 2 years ago my temp knob inside the truck seemed to quit working. It only blows hot air, no matter the position of the knob.
You didn't mentioned the model year of your Ford, but you might try lubricating the heater control switch which is located in the engine compartment side against the firewall. If you have someone try to move the temp knob inside while you look in the engine compartment, you might find the control valve. Once you find it, check to see if the cable is still connected, then try lubricating it with some WD-40 at 1st to get it sliding like it should. Once the cable is opening and closing the valve like it should, you will notice the temps adjusting like they should. Good luck!
