Question about Motorola Radio Communications
Hi.. We have dropped one of the radio in water and now it has stopped responding. How can we get it repair?
You could try taking out the batteries and putting it in rice for a couple of days and see if that helps.
I got one of my Motorola 2-way radios wet and after I dried it out everything seemed to work except the microphone; my suspicion is that the transducer needed to be replaced but I found that I could get used Motorola 2-way radios on eBay inexpensively enough that it made more sense to buy some of those than it did to try to repair the radio I got wet.
If you think you might be prone to dropping your two-radios in the water in the future, Motorola makes some two-way radios that are waterproof.
