Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: using the auxillary setting

You'll need to turn the auxiliary function on in the setup menu. Press Source to put the unit in Standby, then press and hold the Menu button for at least 1 second. Press the control switch toward AM or FM until the AUX setting comes up, then press the control switch toward <<< or >>> to change the setting to ON. Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.

SOURCE: Auxillary input

Go to this site and download the owners manual, onpage 47 is the instructions for using the "Aux" input.

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Support/Car_Entertainment_Owners_Manuals/#_

You need to use the drop down menu in the right side of the page and select your model number.

I hope this helps, if it does not help, you may need to have it serviced.

A good rating would be appreciated.

Let me know if you need more help,

Dave

HI-i have a coleman heat pump- on defrost it gives cold air- not normal. thanks

Do you have electric heat strips for auxillary or backup heat? When the heatpump goes into defrost, the electric heat strips or whatever your source of auxillary heat is, should come on to keep you from feeling the cold air. When the heat pump is in defrost it is essentially operating in the A/C mode, that is why you will feel cold air if the auxillary heat isn't working. You need find out why the auxillary heat isn't coming on if it isn't. It could be do to a bad seqencer or a burnt out element.

Need to replace the auxillary transmission cooler

The auxillary IS the second cooler. Theres only one radiator. Some have a engine oil cooler. If you see the cooler thats leaking, I dont see why you cant find where it connects?

I believe You have to have the right auxillary connection to plug it in -- looks like in the lower right hand corner if you are looking directly at the unit.
