Question about Lands Phones

1 Answer

We have this phone set up in a dental practice. At the moment the calls are going through to phones in different areas rather than just the reception as well as ringing over the intercom. Can any one help to change this?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Avaya Partner-18D office phone-After an intercom call, the receiver's phone rings

Try hitting the speaker button and intercom your boss. When you hit the speaker button to hang up, do you get the same thing? If not. It could be that the gray "clicker" switch that pushes down when you put the handset back isnt going all the way back down...

Let me know.

SOURCE: Night switching for KX-T7630

You have 4 different modes of calling available to be programmed: DAY NIGHT BREAK and LUNCH. Your installer has to set up the ICD groups, but you can create a LUNCH group which looks like the day mode but rings all phones. The codes are accessed by dialing on the intercom *780x where 0 is day 1 is night 2 is lunch and 3 is break.

You may use the NIGHT mode in the daytime, but if you have voice mail, it will play the night greeting instead of a day greeting.

SOURCE: I have a NEC ETW 16DC-2 phone that does not ring with calls

The telephone instrument you have can be used on the NEC Electra Professional Level I, and the Level II systems (and under some conditions the NEAX 2000 series). Codes for features are somewhat different based on the system. It is possible that your phone is in "Do-Not-Disturb" if other phones on your system actually ring when they are called via the intercom (on the Level I and Level II systems, initial intercom ring is a system wide setting). The cancel DND code is: Level I system: with telephone idle, press <FNC>, dial 60, press <FNC>. Level II system: with telephone idle, press <FNC>, dial 69, press <FNC>.
It is also possible that your ring volume is very low. To adjust, press <SPKR>, dial 601, then adjust volume using the up/down keys at the bottom of the phone (press <SPKR> when finished. If your system is programmed to access an outside line when you press <SPKR>, you will need to press the <INTERCOM> button first.)
If your system is set for voice intercom, people calling your phone can make it ring by dialing a "1" after your intercom number.
If you do all this and your phone still won't ring on incoming calls, let me know and we'll have to go into system programming to correct it.

Why cant i get any signal on my sgs3 phone?

How do other phones react in your area? Some phones use different network speeds. For example, I once lived in an area where my call reception improved when I turned off 3g and just used edge. Also if the phone is in a case, it may affect signal. One other cause could be software modifications. If you got the phone used, then it may have been tampered with before.

My incoming calls are going straight to voicemail

Hi,

I think it's mostly due to the following: phone is off, lose of connection, bad reception area, network is down. But if none of these are going with your phone then try this. Go to your phone settings> phone or network (depending on menu) and disable 'call forwarding'. It may be set to go to your vm automatically with no delay (0 seconds waiting time). I hope these suggestions work. Regards

Im gettin no reception at all

Hi,

When a phone has no reception, it means that the network coverage in that area is not strong enough to make calls.

Check the network setting of the phone if it is in automatic network search, if not you can set it to automatic search so that the network can automatically appear.

But sometimes the network of the phone you are using might not have a strong network in the area you are, so you can check that out too. You can also confirm with another person using the same network with your if network is on the persons phone or not.

Form there w will no where the problem really is, if it is from the phone or from the network you are using.

Take care.

My nokia 6300 does not pick signals in office and while its in pocket..but works perfect at home with all bars..otherwise it just shows 1 bar and its hard to talk...

First remove the Simcard from the phone, test the SIM card on a different phone, and see if you get same reception problem in the office. If the problem depends on the phone, then internal aerial contact is broken, get a replacement phone . If problem depends on the SIM , then call the phone company, it may be a network problemt, or a reception problem because this company has poor field in the office area.

Person on the other end of line can not hear me on my cordless GE phone

Try switching channels or frequencies on the phone. Also go to a different area of the house or outside to ensure its not a reception problem.
Last. Either replace the mic in the handset or purchase a new set.

NO audio from HTC Tilt (8925) TyTN II -att-

If you recently completed an upgrade of your phone, you might need to upgrade your SPL to Hard-SPL (3.28, 3.56, etc) and also find a suitable Radio Rom (in charge of your bluetooth, reception and sounds) for the upgraded wm 6.1 rom. If you go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=376 and go into the wiki, you will find a lot of helpful threads. No one can tell you the "best" radio for your area, you will have to try different ones to find which gives you the best combination of bluetooth, gps and reception.
