Hi Ashraf, it's Jack at Dyson.

Unfortunately since 31st December 2012, we have been unable to support CR01 and CR02 washing machines with spare parts or servicing. In October 2012 we proactively wrote to all CR01 and CR02 owners that we'd interacted with within the last 3 years to make them aware of this.

If you would like to discuss your concerns further with one of our experts, you can reach us on 0800 298 0298. Calls are free from UK landlines, and we're available from 8am-8pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am-6pm on weekends.

Alternatively you may wish to check with local repair services for advice - please note, we cannot recommend or endorse specific repair companies.

Water keeps filling and overflowing when turned on but will stop when turned off, how can I fix this?

Could be a faulty fill switch. The fill switch is often an air pressure switch. As the tub fills a small internal air pressure is created which is sent to the switch via a small hose that sometimes becomes blocked or displaced.

If not it is possibly a fault with the control board.

Even though the water well is full to the right level the machine does not detect this and flashes 'Add Water' then stops. Was working fine the day before. I suspect the water level detector switch is...

Tube for pressure switch sits outside drum and needs air pressure to activate the may find the water has entered the tube thus reducing the effective air pressure required to activate water level indicator.simply take top off washer and locate the tube , drain the machine via the drain tube near the penny trap before pulling off the rubber hose which comes from bottom of drum and drain out any water from tube, reconnect tube and the air that is now in the tube will compress as the water level rises to the point where it activates the switch.if still not fixed maybe need to replace pressure switch which is obtainable off eBay from various online sellers.

The water doesn't stop filling and overflows on floor...

The water level control has an air tight rubber tube coming up from the base of the tub. As the water rises the pressure builds in the tube. When the desired level is reached the water pressure inside the tube shuts off the switch. The switch itself could be bad(not likely) OR the tub has a hole in it (not likely) OR it could have vibrated off the switch (seen it) but most likely the sediment in the base of the tub is blocking the air from the switch. Remove the tube from the switch and blow out the sediment then reattach the tube and pump out the water in the machine. Then retry. No parts needed!

How to fix overflowing water problem

Here is how it works:
You activate the wash cycle and power goes to the motor and water valve.
So either the water valve or the motor but not both will run. Why? The water level switch has 3 wires. A common hot wire and a wire to the water valve and to the motor. The king of the highway the water level switch is the boss dawg. But is has help from mother nature. A rubber tube is placed at the bottom of the tub. It is connected to that water level switch and air tight. As the water rises in the tub the air pressure inside that tube rises.
Engineers have it worked out where X amount of pressure will determine water level in tub. When that air pressure reach's the determined strength BOOM the switch is forced to click. When it does it kills the power to the water valve and shifts the power to the motor babes. And away we go with wash cycle. So what can go wrong? Sand and sediment get into the inlet of that tube. A hole gets in that tube, vibration makes the tube fall away from the switch, and my fav: pinched tubing from reinstalling cabinet incorrectly(been there done that) LOL
To recap: Make sure the tubing to the switch is tight and secure and free of holes or restrictions. Nothing to it. Here is a video which features how to access the water level switch to check all of the above:

Hotpoint washer over filling

Hello Friend, Your solution is simple. You need to replace the water level pressure switch. It's simple to replace, just remove the knob from front panel and gain access to the rear of control panel. You will see the water level pressure switch from the backside. It has a flexible rubber tube attached to it. Just remove the rubber tube and the wires making note of location of wires. Install new switch and re-install wires and when re-installing rubber tube, be sure to moisten nipple on new switch before you re-install the rubber tube. moistening the nipple before re-installing the rubber tube will insure an air tight seal. This should solve your problem. Happy to help, Tim.

Washer will not stop filling.

Remove the rubber tube from the water level switch and blow out the sand and stuff from the base of the tub so that air pressure can buildup inside that tube as the water rises. After blowing it out make sure that hose is tightly secured to the water level switch,
pump the water out of the machine. Retry5afabf7.jpg

I have a Kenmore washing machine, model number: 110.91566200 and stock number: 15662. It will not stop filling the tub and begin to agitate. My guess is it's the sensor/switch that tells it when it has...

This is a fairly easy fix. No parts needed. The problem is with the air tight tube that goes from the bottom of the tub to the water level switch. Trash and sediment gets in the hose and won't allow the pressure to build in the tube and shut down the selected water level. Solution: remove the air tight rubber tube from the switch. Blow out the trash and sediment from the tube. Secure the tube back on the switch and pump the water out of the machine. Retry.
Note to gain access to the switch you must remove the screws holding down the console and flip it up.

Machine fault code "f13"

Plug off the wall. There is a thin rubber tube going from the switch area to the exit near the outlet tube. Probably this is blocked. This tube should be free from any blockage; take out the top clip from this tube and blow into it - it should be free, clear the blockage if any and refit. This is the water level tube which tells the machine when to switch off water, etc.....
