You may have too many background processes working.

http://www.processlibrary.com/processscan/

Uniblue's Process Library has updated their free process scanner and I think it works really well ... and yes, it's totally FREE ... not something you click then have to pay for. Once you click the above link , click the green button that says Instant Process Scan ... when the scan is done, you will see a list of all of the processes that are running in the background on (and possibly slowing down) your computer ... click on any name and you will be shown a description of what the process is and does and whether you can turn it off or not.
also, download ccleaner to remove Temp files cookies and TIF's:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

How many services and/or applications do you have running in the background? Click <start> <run> and type "msconfig" without the quotes, then click on <Diagnostic Startup> <apply> and reboot. Now do the 3 finger salute (Ctrl, Alt, Del) and check your CPU usage. If it has dropped way down repeat the process and this time click on the Start up tab and uncheck all those things which don't need to be running in the background.

How to Protect PC from Overheating?

Laptop over heating which is also known as Thermal Overload. This is mainly due to excess usage of CPU(More than 60%) for a long time.

To check CPU usage Right click on Task Bar>Select Start Task Manager>Performance.

or

Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Esc

If your CPU usage is more than 50% you need to close some applications which are using 20++% CPU.
To check application which are using 20++% CPU
Right click on Task Bar>Select Start Task Manager> Processes
Search in this dialog box for programs which are using 30++% CPU
Have a look.......hjlava_3.jpg

You need to close this application to prevent PC from over heating.Actually %age usage indicates load to CPU by the application. If load is to much CPU is to processes at faster speed which in turn increases temperature of CPU.

To close the program select the program, and select End Process.

If didn't found any program using 30++% CPU in this dialog box.
Select Show process from all users. and search in this dialog box and close the program.

Caution:some times your system also uses 30++% CPU inn some processes like anti virus scanning,at this if you closed the program your PC may shutdown. At this time you need to restart the PC.

This usually happens for out dated anti virus or incompatible programs.

There are some other factors like Graphics Properties and Graphic Memory,Display size, Processor type, etc. At this time its better top use a cooling pad.

Some program like camera drivers,Simulation softwares, games uses 50+% CPU.This is common these programs need to process large amount of data at short interval time which increases CPU usage but this is normal.

The processors properties are tested at 140*c so no need to worry. If the CPU exceeds the limited temperature PC will shuts down automatically, and after cooling you need to start the PC.
Thank you...:)

Msi wind freezes and jitters when watching live tv

Hello,

Sometimes live TV stream can be demanding on Internet bandwith and you memory. I would check Task Manger>Performance chart while streaming to see if you memory or cpu usage is peaked out. If it does, you should look into upgrading your memory.(If you are max out, see if you can change to a memory card with faster speed and capacity.)

Good Luck.

My Toshiba satellite pro M10 very slow.

check your system performance thru task manager. check for CPU usage. usually COU usage is 1% to 10%. if your CPU usage would peak from 10% to 100% there is a huge possibility that there is program running on your computer that eats up your memory. Or it could be spyware/malware

My cpu usage is at 100 % when i run more two programs at a time, in turn making my computer slow even after installing a new operating system

Be careful how you interpret this information. In general, any program that has "work" to do will use the CPU when it is available. Showing 100% CPU usage over en extended period of time MAY indicate a problem or it may just reflect the case where there are background programs beiung run that have no effect on the system. The "scheduling" iof the CPU is usually done in chunks called quanta. Since CPU time is usually scheduled on what is called a pre-emptive mode, lower priority jobs (like virus scanning of the disc) will be pre-empted by an interactive user command (word processing for example).

Without examining your system and understanding what programs are running, it is hard to provide guidance on how to "fix": the system. Use the task manager to see what percentage of time is being used and for what. The utilization is shown as a percentage of the whole. Report the info here and we should be able to at least explain what is happening.

My tablet pen occasionally stops responding.

what you need to do is go into cmd prompt and type this: /configtab (you need to type it correctly, sometimes you may need all caps or no caps, it depends your software). get the 7 digit code that appears next to "confm" and go to your tablet settings and enter it into the confirmation input. and you are set to go!
