Question about Televison & Video
I have this horizontal flickering problem on my philips 191EI.. Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks
This is not horizontal flickering. The picture is out of synchronization. The problem should be with its sync; separator stage circuit. For most modern TVs, this section will be a part of and IC, and is not repairable. Check what number IC is used as system-chorma-video jungle. It is faulty. Replace it. Before replacing, check all the components connected external to it. For details. You're seeing an out of sync: picture on screen. In this case, audio will be almost OK.
