What is the torque specifications on a 1995 chevy cheyenne 1500. looking for the torque specs on the bolts going from the transmisison to the bell housing.
Im looking for the torque for what would be considered the "tail-shaft" I am guessing. There are 9 (nine) bolts that go into the bell housing assembly that were taken out that need to be put back in and the manual doesnt have the specs for it in there. thanks for the transmission to the engine suggestion though, I will most definately keep that into consideration while im banging my knuckles on the body on the truck.Im looking for the torque for what would be considered the "tail-shaft" I am guessing. there is a distinct possibility that it will drop in ,no problems
carefully check bell housing bolt locations
unless there is a major chassis change then it is a go
For 1988-1995 4.3L,5.0L and 5.7L intake manifold bolts are torqued to 35ft.lbs.Start with center bolts on each side moving out finishing with the bolts in the front of the motor and the back
