Without motherboard info theres no way to tell what the beeps mean.
Ok now, Did you smell something burning? Obviously is not the PSU else it wouldn't turn on, but it could be you just fried a transistor in your Video card, not completly messed cause at least you got some dsiplay, try using your onboard video.
Can you get in the bios?
if you can, then is probably an Operative System error,.Some shitty driver caused windows to blow up.Or any other **** Youll have to reinstall.
if you cant get in the bios....try resetting it via the jumper on the motherboard.Switch it to clear cmos and wait 30s or so, then swicth it back. If that doesnt work, check the memory. Remove all stciks and put only one. See if it boots. Change banks.Try all banks. I doubt it is the memory cause you got some display.
Look on the motherboard for any clue about something burned.
Check CPU fan, see if it's stuck with something. Check all fans.
Unplug hard drives, cd rooms, audio, video cards, usb extenders, everything. Remove also the PSU connectors to all of these. leave only the motherborad's and cpu connected. Try now.
If nothing works You'll have to get technical help. but my bet is its just an OS error. YOU MBR got messed up.

X8dt3 died after reboot. 5 beep code

The beep code error message depends upon the BIOS manufacturer.
This beep code may not be correct for your BIOS.
5 Short Beeps Your motherboard is complaining. Try reseating the memory and rebooting. If that doesn't help, you should consider another motherboard. You could probably get away with just replacing the CPU, but that's not too cost-effective. Its just time to upgrade!

My acer z5600 crashes with multicoloured screen when playing games

Ya it sounds like your video Card is dying, though you can check with different RAM and try some normal games which don't need high Graphic. You have PCI Graphic card fitted on it then try removing and playing the game, then this way you can know what is the fault.

Does your ASUS power on? If it does then your computer power supply is good, and if you computer doesn't boot but you can hear power going to the power supply, then your video card has died and a replacement for your video card is due. The "ticking" noise could be your video card cooling off. But your question was a bit vague, I could not tell if your issue was a power issue with your computer or a monitor problem.

Dimension 5100 wont start up .power led on MB is on changed mb.shorted out test done fan went.nothing else.what next ???

I have seen more than a few of these (Dimension 5100 series) die due to mainboard issues. If you haven't done so already, take out everything you can, (add-in cards, modem, disconnect hard drives, CD drives, etc.) Try to restart. If you get it to boot, you can add in one item at a time, and realize that when it won't start that is probably the culprit.
Next, If you have a second PC that has known good RAM of the same type, I would swap that out as well. Then try to boot with just video, Mainboard and RAM. If you see any blinking lights/sounds/etc. then report that on here as well. There are beep codes and on Dell's there are light error codes.
I you do happen to have a spare CPU, you could swap that out as well if you can, but I would not bet that is the problem as they are pretty durable for the most part.
If none of these comes up with a booting PC, it could be your replacement mainboard is bad.

I hear beeping tone in my cpu when i plug it

When the computer makes those funny sound via the system speaker, it's not doing it because it wants to be heard. The computer is trying to talk to the operator/technician and tell them what's wrong.

So here are some codes to give you an idea of what might be wrong with your PC.

Black screen with error codes

I think the msg you are seeing is just the default monitor message when there is no video to display. Here is a list of common beep codes: Are you getting the one long beep at each restart?

It appears the game doesn't support your memory!??
Never heard of that before...
You should check for new mainboard drivers, or maybe the memery isn't correctly inserted on the pins on your mainboard.

If that's not it, you should probably reinstall your PC. Probably a little error in some Windows library that can't be solved by rebooting...

I suppose you can play other games on that PC, right?

Good luck,

My Emachine Pc keeps cutting off

It could be that your power supply is not putting out enough power to keep up with demand. IE.. during high graphics loads. If you upgraded your graphics card without upgrading your power supply, this could be the problem. Most PC's off the shelf are under powered and putting a video card in that requires mass power will really kill a system. Or it may be overheating. Overheating causes a varied number of problems to a PC, most of them permanent.
Also, there is a code to the beeps. The pattern of the beeps will tell you what the error is. Check with the MB manufacturer to find out what they are.
