Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
Hi there the water pressure seems to be non-existant in our caffitaly coffee machine. From one day to the next the machine will not pierce through the bottom of the capsules to allow the water to flow through the capsule, however, if I remove the capsule, the water flows through the machine no problem. What can I do to fix this?

SOURCE: Krups FME2 will not flow water.
Does it sound like it is boiling water at all?
If it is boiling, but not giving hot water, then the one-way valve is stuck.
If it is not getting hot (on the soleplate base) then usually the element has blown.
These machines use the steam generated by boiling as a means to move the water up - like a geyser, and need the heat to move the water.
Replacement elements are available, and the valves usually just require cleaning.
