Brush roll

i am trying to find and purchase a new brush roll for my ge vacuum. The number on it says that it is 106585 and from what I can tell that is the same as 5550 parts. Is that correct?Thank you

ApprenticeI have the same vacuum for the last 5 years. I dont know if its the same as 5550 (I assume it isn't) but I can give you the part number 61445-1. It costs around $16 and you can call 1-877-207-0923 b/w 7 am and 8 pm Mon-Fri central time, or fax 1-309-823-5789. They add shipping/handling of $ 6.
