My cannon power shot a75 will not focus. All of the manufacturers symbols are perfectly clear but absolutely no focus when taking a picture.

Have you tried any of the following?

2. Close the battery door.

3. Press and hold down the on/off button for 1 minute.

4. Release the on/off button, and reinsert the batteries and memory card.

Next reset the settings of the camera to the factory default.

Hi anyone know where i can buy a replacement zoom assembly on line for a f60 finepix camera

Your lens, ccd sensor and main board are all set up together when the camera was manufactured. Replacing any one of these items may result in poor picture quality unless they are all reset together using the set up software and camera rig

Lens stay out

Hey flakey61,
One thing you can try is removing the batteries, and according to the manufacturer if you leave them out for three days or more and then reinsert fully charged batteries the camera should reset to the default settings and this might resolve your problem. If that doesn't help this camera is most likely still covered under manufacturer warranty, and you could call the manufacturer and set up service on the camera. You can also bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out under manufacturers warranty to get serviced. I hope this helps!

Turns Off

Hey MaryKing,
I would first try taking out the batteries and waiting a couple of minutes and reinserting them, and if this doesn't work I would try a new set of batteries (battery manufacturers' sometimes do make faulty products). The next thing you could try is cleaning the battery contacts with a soft dry clean clothe. If you can access your set up menu there is a reset option that resets the camera to the manufactures default settings. If none of these options work I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!
