may i ask what your attempting to pair with the device? (sounds like a Bluetooth device i'm unsure if the device here is a android or flip phone however...if it is the flip phone go to settings > connectivity > Bluetooth for android its also in the same way or there on the android settings menu)
As far as I know the default passkey for the Pioneer AVIC devices is 1111 (four ones). By the way, it seems that there two ways to pair this device. If, after display the settings menu and selecting 'Bluetooth settings', you choose 'Register from mobile phone', after you phone is paired, all subsequent connection requests will be started from your phone. Otherwise, if you choose 'Select specific devices' instead, all connections will be started from the navigation system.
Hope you are able to get your navigation system fully functioning soon.
Anyway, please, let me know if you need further informations.
To put your headset again in pairing mode, you must assure that your phone's bluetooth radio is turned off. Only then, open your headset's boom. After it is in pairing mode, turn your phone's bluetooth radio on, and make it search for new devices.
Hope it works for you.
