Question about Dryers
Thanks or the #. Ok, The safty is located next to the heating element. To get to the safety, You need to pop the top of the dryer be inserting a flat blade screwdriver into the gap between the dryer front panel and the dryer top and push down on the screwdriver to seperate to two panels. Once you have done this, the element can be located at the rear top edge of the drum. A 1/4" screw will hold the safety stat and one holding the element. after you have removed the element from it's housing (Be carefully when lifting the element out so that you DO NOT break any of the ceramic holding the element. Now you will find the safety fuse on the right side of the element housing. Notice as you remove the safety how it mounts to the housing. Check continuity on the safety fuse. If you find the fuse is open, it will need to be replaced.
I can send you the proper kit if you would like.
Hope this helps.
