I just uninstalled my 29 year old Encon flush mount fan light. The number on the base is E101004. It was a lighted base. The mount bracket is built into the base. It is the 4 prong and hook style the allows the motor to hang suspended while wiring and then swings up. There is a glass ring that is sandwiched between the base plate and decorative bottom. It's the only usable part besides the 4 glass light covers. You can save this from the land fill if you haven't purchased a replacement fan.

I have an Encon fan that growls when turned on and only operates at a slow speed. I have the chain on the first pull for high and have a remote. When I let it run overnight at the low speed, there was a distinct odor in the room. Any thoughts?

Hi I have a ceiling fan model P42 with a remote sensor. It has been working fine for at least 4yrs now until just recently. I went to turn on the light using the remote and the bulb blew. I replaced the bulb but now the light does not work period with or without the remote control. Any reasons why this has now happened? Mark

I searched through 30 pages of ceiling fans and i didnt see this one so I put this on one that looked like it. If anyone can tell me what type of fan this is, I would appreciate it. Additionally, the problem i am having with it is the fan does not work anymore. I tried the fuse, switch, lights and pulled the chain and they all work but not the fan. The fan does have free movement so nothing is blocking it. It stopped working when I flipped the switch on the fan to reverse the direction, Now it will not work either way. Begging for help because i will b moving soon and dont feel like paying loads of money to have a repair guy take 5 mins and tell me something easy is wrong. Thank u very much.
