Question about Samsung Washing Machines
I have purchased a samsung washing machine (Front Loading, fully automatic, allegedly containing Ceramic Heater.) from M/s Shubham, Samsung Plaza, No.70,G.S.T.Road, Chrompet, Chennai-44. During the negotations, I was told about a model Wf R1061EW which contains Ceramic Heater. I was charged Rs.2,500 extra for that additional feature. The bill was also made, mentioning WF R1061 EW. But, when the piece was delivered to my home I was shocked to see the model is entirely a different one.(WF R1061 W1/XTL). Immediately I contacted the dealer and I was repeatedly told that both the models are one and the same. Not convinced, I have contacted the Samsung Support Centre over phone and I explained the whole thing. I was given a reference number(8405331169) and was told that the model delivered to my home does not contain any Ceramic Heater. Now, again I contacted the Dealer and the dealer says the delivered model contains the Ceramic Heater. Without using the machine, I am keeping it for further developments. Under these circumstances, please guide me. I very much feel cheated by the dealer. Expecting a reply fromyou.

SOURCE: Hi Unable to drain the water
You can take the hose that goes to the drain and lay it down. but when you do that the water will run out the hose so make sure it goes outside or into a floor drain. You pump is either jammed or broken or the solenoid that turns it on is out.

SOURCE: error 5e will not empty
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Samsung '5e' means 'water drain error'.
I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking filters and motors ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!
