Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Tabbed Browsing Tip

With the introduction of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 all major browsers now support tabbed browsing. Below are various tips to improve your browsing using tabs.

1. Clicking on any link with your middle mouse button or wheel will open that link in a new tab. Alternatively you can hold down your CTRL key in IE and Firefox and click a link to open that link in a new tab.
2. Clicking on an open tab with your middle mouse button will close that tab.
3. Mozilla Firefox users can middle-click the back button to open a previous page in a new tab.
4. Pressing CTRL + T will open a new tab in IE, Firefox, and Opera.
5. Pressing CTRL + Shift + T will undo the closed tab. Alternatively right clicking on a portion of the tab bar will also display this option.
6. Firefox and IE users can hold down CTRL and press 1 through 0 on their keyboard to open that respected tab.
7. Right-clicking the active tab will give you an option to close all other non-active tabs.

Hope this will be a useful tip.

Thanks & Regards
Nandu :)

Lost the internet explorer tool bar

Close any open Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer windows.

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT

Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar

There are 3 sub keys: Explorer, ShellBrowser, WebBrowser'

In each of these sub-keys is the entry for ITBarLayout

For IE Toolbars: The WebBrowser Sub-key directly affects IE.
For Windows Explorer Toolbars: The Explorer Sub-key directly affects Explorer.
The ShellBrowser sub-key may affect IE as well. Its effect on IE and Windows Explorer is unknown at this time, so if the first option doesn't work, delete the ITBarLayout value here as well.

Choose the relavent sub-key and right click where it says ITBarLayout and select Delete.

The deleted value will automatically be recreated for you.

You may want to right click on the main key (above) and select Export. This will allow you to backup the contents of the whole key, including subkeys.

Extremely slow boot, am using wireless internet, windows xp...when i click on ie or mozilla, the page infers its done loading but all there is is the toolbar at the top and bottom...no pages are coming up....

what you can do to speed up IE is:-
How to increase the speed of the internet explorer in windows Xp service pack 2 & Vista..
In Registry....
Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>>
>Software >Microsoft >Windows > Current version >Internet Settings
Click on Internet Settings...
Right click on the right pane> Click on DWORD
Rename it MaxConnectionsPerServer> Right on it & put the value : Decimal>153; Hexadecimal>99
Again Right click on the right pane> Click on DWORD
Rename it MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server> Right on it & put the value : Decimal>153; Hexadecimal>99
Restart the Internet Explorer & check the boost in the internet..

Or
Download Hijackthi from pctuneup.pctuneup.googlepages and install it
Run a scan by saving a log file
Once the Log file is open in a text document copy the entire information and open hijacthis.de
there would be a a analyzy space provided paste the matter there and analyze
You will get the result for the search , check all the red X marked nad find them in the hijackthis tool and fix them.
Your IE should be working fine

Toolbar in my internet explorer is almost gone

Are you missing the Internet Explorer toolbar that displays the File, Edit, and View menus? If so, you might have moved the Yahoo! Toolbar, or some other toolbar over the IE menu, or you might have gone into fullscreen mode accidentally.
First, make sure you aren't in fullscreen mode. If you are, you'll only see the navigation bar with the Forward, Back, and other buttons at the top of your screen. If that's the case:
  1. Press the F11 key on your keyboard.
  2. The other toolbars in IE should appear.
You can press F11 as many times as necessary to toggle between normal and fullscreen mode in IE.
If that doesn't solve the problem, you might have accidentally moved one of your other toolbars over the main toolbar. Try the following:
  1. Directly to the left of the Y!, you should see a thin vertical bar.
  2. Click this bar with the left mouse button and drag the toolbar straight down.
  3. Your main IE toolbar should now be visible.
Once your toolbars are how you want them, you can right-click the IE toolbar and select "Lock the Toolbars" to keep them from moving accidentally in the future.
If you're still having problems with your Internet Explorer toolbars, you might need to visit Microsoft's Internet Explorer support website.
