LCD displays have one potential weakness (other than freezing temps), and it involves how they are contacted. The display has a row of sputtered contacts which are nearly transparent that carry the date from a flat cable to the display segments. These film contacts cannot be soldered and the mating 'connector' is a flat piece of silicone rubber with fine parallel wires embedded within. This is a narrow strip with the conductors running across the width of the strip. One side is pressed against the film display contacts, the other against bared conductors of the data cable. These are held to the display's contacts by pressure and the initial alignment is critical as is the consistency of pressure across the row of contacts. Sometimes, this is either not well-braced to avoid the loss of contact or heat can cause their position to drift enough to cause some of the display segments to 'drop out' or, if a supply contact fails, you can have either a totally blank display or one with ALL segments turned on; this latter condition is yours.
If you feel like experimenting and can gain access to the rear of the display, you may be able to influence this problem by loosening or tightening any screws you see holding the flat cable to the back of the display.
If you decide to try it and are successful, it may help others if you would return to this thread and give us a description of your work.

I have Lexmark X125 and get message "Check Cartride" I put a new Black Cartride in and get message " None Changed" Printer won't print. What can I do?

What is the black cartridge version that you are using on your Lexmark X125 printer? If you are inserting a photo cartridge on your printer, please follow these steps: 1. Remove the black cartridge and insert the photo cartridge. The printer LCD screen will display CARTRIDGE? NONE CHANGED. 2. Press the Options button to select NEW RIGHT and then press Start. The printer LCD screen will now display RIGHT CARTRIDGE? 3. Use the Options button to select the STD PHOTO cartridge type and click Start. An Alignment page will then print. When the Alignment page is fully printed, the LCD screen will display CARTRIDGE ALIGN. 15 [00-30] A , where - 15 represents the straightest line on the page; - [00-30] is the value range you can select from, between 00 and 30 - A represents the line in each section. 4. Use the numbers on the keypad to select the number of the line you think is the straightest. As you press the number, the LCD will change to the next line automatically. Select the number representing the straightest line in each section.

I have a lexmark x125 all in one printer, it dosnt turn on ,y tried changin the conection cord all th troubleshotters but nothing happens please help me

Great job on changing the connection cord. Also, try removing the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the rectangular black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging the power adapter back in the printer. Properly secure it behind the printer. If that doesn't help, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. Thanks
