Question about RCA Pearl TH1102 MP3 Player

SD card will not stay in

I got a ScanDisk Micro SD card for my RCA Pearl but when I put the card in the MP3 Player it wont stay in all the way and when I hold it shut the player freezes...What do I do?

I have the same player, you must insert the mem card until it clicks into place, this locks it in the player and should take care of the prob. Just keep pushing til you feel the click.

The card you are trying to use is likely a high capacity sd card (SDHC). This player does not support high capacity cards, it only supports microSD cards that are non-high capacity (I think most of them are usually 2GB or less, but you can find them up to 4GB).

I would like to know the maximum Gb sd card that you can put into a rca pearl th1602


as far as I can tell the maximum card is 2gb.you can try to update the firmware and try a bigger one.

RCA Pearl 2GB-Not reading the music on the micro SD card


The problem was the card was inserted properly. Just a mere incident of stupidity but make sure you here a click from the card and it should read it.

I also have a pearl; put songs on the sd card & I can't play the songs from the Pearl. I can play them though, through my cell phone. Do you have any answers?
