sub spec 250watts per coil you should be just fine I have 2 typr 15s on orion hcca 2500 1 and it kicks a$$ thats 1000 watts over the rated limits of the subs only shut the amp down once these subs can take a lot more power than they say just use your common sence with the volume and gain levels

Hello, My CLSC-6C speakers make "scratching"

Most likely it is a rubbing voice coil in either the midrange driver or the tweeter. The only way to repair is to replace the bad driver or tweeter with a new part. Contact CV for replacement parts costs. Replacing parts in most speakers is usually easy to do if you have rudimentary tools and skills. Most connections are made with "faston" slip on/off connectors so a soldering iron is usually not needed.

When playing on high volume the treble dissapear. I have a 2.6kw Cerwin amp. And Clsc 215 speakers. No bi- wire on my speakers. When I lower the volume the treble returnes. What is wrong???

Sounds like your overpowering the horns and the circuit breaker is tripping to prevent them from blowing. You are running more power then they can handle. You can turn down the volume or will have to purchase higher wattage horns...

I have 2 kicker cvr12s and a legacy predator 2400 watt amp and when I turn the radio up the amp goes into protection once they hit a decent time. I just down graded from 15s so I know its not a power...

you prolly have the subs wired to a too low of an ohm load...thats what happend to me. i had the same subs, and a 500.1 watt amp...and they still blew up..whire EACH sub to a 4 ohm...that should work.

I HAVE A CERWIN VEGA CLS-15S POWERED SUB AND A PIONEER RECEIVER WITH NO RCA SUB HOOK UP ON BACK. HOW DO YOU HOOK IT UP

flathead30,
This is an old question but if you have not yet figured anything out, hear is a suggestion.

Without buying any other electronics, use your tape output on the receiver and let your sub's built in crossover to filter the highs out of the signal.
