Are you using the original factory power supply? That sounds like it isn't strong enough. The mA is what I mean.

Music won't open

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

you can set a ring tone in play view!

hope this helps please remember to take the time and give me a good rating if you appreciated my help.

Managing tracks in play view
You can manage your tracks in many ways when playing them. You can, for example,
delete a track, send a track, set a track as your ringtone or add a track to a playlist.
The following icons may appear in the touchbar when a track is playing:
Exit the play view and go back to the previous level
Go to the music library
Adjust the volume
View more commands
Delete the current track
Send the current track
Set the current track as your ringtone
Add the current track to a playlist
View track information
Minimise the music player
To delete a track
1 When the music player is open, tap > .
2 Select an option.
To send a track
1 When the music player is open, tap > .
2 Select a sending method.
To set

also can be done in personal settings:

Personal settings
You can personalise your phone by changing the standby screen, profile or themes.
Profiles
You can change settings such as the ring volume and vibrating alert to suit different
locations. You can create new profiles or change preset profiles.
To change the profile
1 Select Menu > Settings > Personal > Profiles.
2 Tap a profile and select Activate.
3 Select Back.
You can also press and then select a profile.
To edit a profile
1 Select Menu > Settings > Personal > Profiles.
2 Tap a profile and select Personalise.
3 Change the settings and select Back.
To create a new profile
1 Select Menu > Settings > Personal > Profiles.
2 Select Options > Create new.
3 Enter the settings and select Back.

Can't get Audio tracks to play on any myspace page

I'm wondering if you can't play .mp3, .wav or other audio files on your computer, or just Internet Explorer, or just specifically myspace.

First try: Open Internet Explorer. Select Tools from the Menu list. (If you do not have a menu list, right click the gray area below the url bar and select menu bar from the drop down list)
Select Internet Options from the Tools Menu. Select the Advanced Tab. Scroll down to the Multi-Media heading. Make sure that "Play sounds in web pages" is checked. Close Internet Explorer, re open and test.

File format not supported

Sounds like the tracks you are trying to play are DRM protected. This usually causes the "File format not supported" error.

If you are downloading these files from the internet, then you'll have to look elsewhere for files.

If you are ripping your own CDs to .MP3 or .WMA with Windows Media Player, then you need to change a setting in Windows Media Player.

Open Windows Media Player. If visible, click on "Tools" then options. If the menus are not visible, right-click at the top of the Media Player Window, then select "Tools" and click options.

Click on the "Rip CD" or "Rip Music" tab (depending on version).

Remove the tick from the box next to "Copy Protect Music" (or similar)

This will stop DRM protection on any further tracks ripped.

You will need to rip any DRM tracks again.

I added songs to my mp3 player and now it's frozen. It worked before I added the new music. It turns on but it won't do anything else including turn off. I changed the battery but that didn't...

Could be that one of the tracks you have loaded is copy protected (DRM) some players just skip these tracks, some show a "File format not supported" error, and others freeze.

Go to the folder where you store the tracks you have loaded on to the player using My Computer or Windows Explorer, so that the individual tracks show.

Click on the Views icon and select Details

In the right hand windows, right click on one of the headings which have just appeared, and put a tick in the "Protected" box.

"Protected" will now appear as a heading and each file will show Yes or No.

Any files showing as Yes are not compatible with your player.
