Sounds like a belt problem , can you put the shifter in the position such as r or 1,2 3, ?
if so your belt is most likely the problem.

Stuck in gear

I'd go to the junction of the linkage and the transmission and check from there. The transmission will have a lever or some sort of protrusion connecting to the linkage. See if you can move the lever/protrusion by hand, even if you have to disconnect it from the linkage. If you can move it, try to find neutral and reattach the linkage and adjust it so it corrresponds to the indicator on the shifter. If you can't move the lever/protrusion it's internal to the transmission and you are out of luck unless you're up to cracking open the transmission.

I press in the clutch but i cant put it in gear wont even move a hair

Well it could be that the Master Sullinoid Cyllinder is not engaging the clutch. More than likely in my experience its not a good sign. if you know a good mechanic, I would suggest having them look at it and see what they recommend.

You dont want to have to get a new transmition and if the fluids in the transmition are low and this pressure plate wont engage, dont chance it.

A new transmition is upwards of $1700.00 just for the transmition.

My 2005 Chrysler 300C is stuck in the park position even when the car is started and I put my foot on the break.

look under the car at the gear box for the gear leaver to see if its moving when you try to get another gear,,if it dont move there is a fault in the gear selector not the gear box,,,

RIDING LAWN MOWER STUCK IN GEAR

Have someone to rock you while you attempt to move gear shift. Hopefully it is only stuck between gears and will disengage. Your grease in gearbox may have become hard causing problems. If you wash the gearbox with water when hot (after mowing) You may have created moisture in gearbox causing major damage to transmission.
