Re: cannot connect to the internet after install setup...
Check the IP address on your internet setting to make sure you have the correct one. The correct one will usually have to be entered by hand whereas the wrong usually install itself by cd. If it was to easy to install using the cd, then this may be it.

Some people find configuring Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600 with BSNL is a little difficult. So I would like to present a tutorial to setup Internet connection with BSNL using Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600. Just like other BSNL modem/ router models, we do not need any setup disc to configure Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600. All we need is to follow some simple steps and adding some values. We can also setup wireless and wireless security from the web based setup page Configure Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600 In order to configure Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600 with BSNL follow the steps below.
1. Connect Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600 to computer using Ethernet cable
2. Power on Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600
3. Type 192.168.1.1 on address bar of Internet Explorer and press enter
USER Name: admin Password : admin
Now you can access the web based setup page of Nokia Siemens Residential Router 1600.
Reset the player if the device stops behaving
normally. (Keep in mind that rotation sounds and picture issues during
search are normal.) Select the "System" menu from the setup area and
choose "Restore Factory Settings" or a similar option. Allow the device
to restart and then try the disc again.
Insert the disc face up in the tray. If playback fails to
start or if it starts and then stops, wipe the disc with a soft cloth
and try again. Throw out any heavily scratched discs that won't play.
Change the "TV Aspect" to 16:9 in the setup area of the menu
if the picture expands left and right or if the picture size is wrong
and you're using an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cable.
Set the wireless Internet router to automatically allow new
devices to connect to it if the Insignia player won't connect to the
Internet. The player uses only WPS to connect. Some routers
that use different automatic setup protocols won't work.
Make sure that the connection between the player
and the television uses an HDMI cable if you're watching a Blu-ray
movie. Some Blu-ray discs will only play over an HDMI connection. Also,
remember that some Blu-ray discs won't work with PiP
Do you mean Microsoft Office 2007?
Do you have microsoft 2007 installation disc?
If you have the disc, explorer the disc and find the setup file. Double click on setup file to install microsoft office 2007. You need the product key for that.
Hope this help. Thanks for reading
Welcome to FixYa! If you still have the installation disc that came with the router, you can go ahead and run the disc and follow the instructions. The Cisco Connect Software will be installed when you run the supplied Setup CD or Easy Setup Key on a computer. Once Cisco Connect is installed, you can then use its features to easily manage and share your network resources.
QUICK TIP: Create a Desktop shortcut to launch Cisco Connect easier. Windows XP
Step 1: Click on the button and select All programs.
Step 2: On the All Programs sub-menu, locate and select Cisco Connect. This should launch Cisco Connect and take you to its main screen.
NOTE: If you are unable to locate Cisco Connect, it may not be installed yet. Download the latest Cisco Connect setup wizard from the Cisco Support page. After downloading, click on the Cisco Connect icon to launch the installation wizard.
Hope this will help...Thank you for using Fixya...
As far as I know, the setup wizard for your router is just to help you configure the internet and wireless connection and it won't install any software at your PC. It just needs you PC to run the setup wizard to do those things. An alternative way is to manually configure it via it's web interface which you can access by opening Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 at your Address bar. That's also useful when you will configure advance setting at your router.
if you are doing a clean XP install the CD will ask if you if you want to change your partitions.Afterwards it will automatically format the hard drive. Some of the OS discs dont come with drivers you will have to hunt for them on the internet. If you are using a restore disc copyied from a working machine it should have generic drivers already loaded in the disc.
