Question about Bissell 3594 CleanView PowerTrak Bagless Upright Vacuum
While using the vacuum, it begins to smell like burning rubber and the smell goes throughout the house, What can be causing this to happen, can it be fixed or do I have to purcahse a new vacuum. This has been going on for about three months now. When you begin to use it, there is no smell but after about 10 minutes or so it comes back. Thank you Marc
Check the belt. if it feels "streched out", replace it.

Hi Pmob20, Remove the brush and clean all the string or whatever may be trapped at the end edges of the brush. This is usually the case with Bissel vacs, that string or fiber gets trapped at the ends of the brush assembly.
