Beolab 3500 doesn't work on Beosound 9000

The Beosound is "stand alone" in on room, the Beolab 3500 in another. Plays for only 10 sec then stopped.

SOURCE: Hum from B&o active speakers

Hi,  You may try to not connect the ground pin of the main cable of Arcam Solo. Using a 2 poles adaptor is the simple way. Try to find hum is still there. And using better RCA cables, like twisted pair, quad wires cable is better. Because, it is long-run (over 2 metre long), EMI and RFI are easy to enter the signal path.

SOURCE: How do I unlock B&O beosound 9000? Hi, have

You can only go to a b&o dealer to obtain a mastercode for the product, you can then change the pin code to one of your own.Proof of identity will be required along with the serial number and preffably the name and address of the original owner and where it was purchased.

SOURCE: I have four Beolab 6000

That would depend on the unspecified 'TV system' and its speaker requirements and controls. Most TV's don't support directly-attached speakers. Since these are self-amplified, half the battle is won.

Have you looked at any manuals?

Register and download the 6000 manual for free at retrevo.com

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Bang-%26-Olufsen-BeoLab-6000-Speakers-manual/id/23302ci863/t/2/

The Beloab 6000 speakers DO support connection to non-B-and-O products through the RCA Line In jacks but that presumes you have external volume control.

The unnamed subwoofer probably won't work with a TV. More details would be needed.

This speaker system would work with any 'standard' component-style system if you wanted to use them for the TV AND other sources.

How I can connect my mac to beolab 2000? is it possible?

Not going to be be possible but you sure do have some nice speakers!. On top of helping people with their computer problems I also write music. Would love to hear myself through these. Anyway The 2000 MUST be connected to the main system only. Its designed to only work with the main system via a MasterLink Cable. Its really simply an extension of your master system and cannot be used for anything else. Hope these helps.
