We had a power outage and our ice maker just stopped working. Can it be fixed? thanks

If there was a power surge associated with the outage, maybe not.
Does the display still light up?

Reset power outage.

First cap the p-ram. Hold down the Apple. Option P and R keys after the start-up chime. Wait for four more chimes.
Or, boot from Disc Warrior and let it repair HD.
Then restart and in disc utility repair disc permissions and repair disc.

We have a vista 40 system. We have three outside doors in the system. The system is not armed, but if any of the doors are openedthree beeps will sound. That is what we want. This has been functioning well...

Hi, well i suspect that when the power went either out, or more likely when service was restored, the device suffered a "Power Spike, Surge, or Transient" This is an all to common thing, most people do not know how imperative it is to UNPLUG ALL electronic equipment, after the power outage, and only connect a little time AFTER re-connection to avoid any "Nasties" that will occur at the time of and soon after power is reconnected to the grid. Sensitive electronics can and will be damaged by these events as has been evidenced here.
Most likely the power supply unit is damaged, however it may indeed have gone "Deeper' into the electronics without examination one simply cannot tell.
In, my experience, over the many years, these instances i cannot recommend repair, as most often, the very damage done is of a nature that precludes repair, and demands replacement only.
A surge or spike buster device may, assist and are a worthwhile addition, and should always be used regardless on electronics connected to the Mains, however ALWAYS remove totally the connection, in future instances of power outages, to stop this from occurring again.

My door chime (Honeywell) is not working anymore after a recent power outage. How do I get it to work?

The transformer may have been fried. test this with a line testing kit like you would use to trace a line in a car. If the power is not going threw the transformer then you can just replace it of by a new door bell. they are fairly in expensive.
