there are screws in the back and then there are screws under the top on the front that are hidden by the oven door.

Could be range of problems including:

Power not connected/turned off
Ignitor ports clogged
Incorrect operation

From what you have described there is a popping noise within your Frigidaire oven when it is baking. It could be some food residue left on the element or an issue with the thermostat. Do this at the same time while pushing and hold the light switch to the left of the door lock. Usually this will trick the oven into unlocking the door. If it is ineffective, try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and redo the steps. If door continues to maintain locked while open, the unit may possibly have a faulty door latch or a communication problem with the EOC. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
