Question about Cell Phones
Look at it this way. The glass MUST be touching the pixelated screen under it, otherwise... it will not work. SO! first. try pushing it back in place.... other than that! you need a screen replacement... or you broke the bottom half of the key detection unit which will cost more than a new phone to replace.

This is a frustrating protocol that companies need to maintain " no physical damage" it is due to idiots who abused the warranty and made us the ones who need it ,suffer . There is a way around it . It may charge a deductable and providing that your insurance covers lost or stolen producte. File the claim. I repair cell phones .a ez repair may cost 100 to 150

The screen should keep working with the LCD cracked. i.e you should be able to receive calls.
