SOURCE: I have a coleman 54-2000 generator 2250 was working great then it started making a noise & it quit puting out 120 volt down to 62volts so I took it apart I checked the rotor & it is shorted ou

you said that your rotor is damaged so you have to re-wire it ...as for the stator testing procedure ..bring an ohmeter and put one side on the first end of the wire and the other on the other end....check for electrical continuity...if it beeped or lighted or did whatever it should do...then the stator is fine if not email me please...

SOURCE: Older Coleman 3500 Watt generator, sitting for

there can be many reasons. need more info:
Is it Inverter typr generator?

measure output voltage - anything?
take back cover off generator itself, measure continuity of stator and rotor, and visually inspect windings. You'll find AVR module there too, it may be the reason.

Changed oil and gas filter and spark plug but wont start. wont pick up its gas

put a little gas directly in carburetor and see if it starts with air filter off. if it dose, drain carburetor using screw on bottom of bowel then put more gas in carburetor , and start it and let it run for awhile then put air filter back on. it should work.

Cord wont pull

It seems like the engine is seized, it may not be too badly seized. Try taking out the plug, if necessary take the end cover off the alternator, and see if you can put a wrench on the rotor and turn it, if not then you will need tor emove the heads and see what's going on. Sometimes a lot of carbon in the heads can cause this, especially if it becomes disslodged

Power washer will run fine for about 30 to 40 minutes then stalls, I wait a few minutes and starts but it runs rough and stops.

Sounds like a fuel problem eighter a filter or you have debrie in your fuel tank thats cloging the inlet from the tank to the carburtator . Its that or a problem with the water pump . That could also be clogging and putting exesive back prressure on the engine shaft causeing stalling . What dose your water flow look like do you loose that first before the engine starts to bog down or dose the engine go first and the pressure follow . Also do you winterize the mechine i owen and repair many washers if you need more info you need to give more pier_j

Bike starts but has no power and it dose not seem to hit the rev limiter. just had new timing chain fitted new plug it also seems to get hot realy quick

There is a possibility that one (or both) of the cams may be one tooth out of time. Remove the head cover and spark plug then put the piston on TDC compression and check the cam gear alignment marks on both gears.
