Can you please inform me on your motherboard maker + serial number please?
Therefor i can determin if you have AGP or PCI/PCI-E compatable motherboard.

In accordance with the 2nd part of your questing on prices of your gfx card,
I recently bought 2 new gfx cards, Inno3d a well rated and factory tested card, both cards are factory overclocked to get peak performace from your investment whilst retaining a warranty.

In saying that most factory warranties are void as soon as you overclock your gfx card/s.

So the Inno3d 8800GT o/c 512mb, was pretty much the best bang for your buck @ $415au
As for AGP i had a friend upgrade his card to a XpertVision ATI X800 GTO 256mb, and he has not been able to stop boasting about the difference compared to his old card(somewhat similar to your 7100) and @ $125au
seems a bit of a steal since i paid well over $300 for a AGP (128mb) card less then 5years ago.

I assume you have a pci-e slot on the computer. get atlest the geforce 8600 with 256. would cost you around 6000 bucks.

I have a nividia 8900 ver 100 graphic catd i need a driver for this puppy

Hello the driver can be downloaded here:

By selecting the model, and your windows system.

Also try automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products.

By installing a small bit of software, to identify the graphic card.

You just have to make sure, the driver fits your windows system 32 or 64 bit.

I suggest to use the automatic find function.

Good luck

I cant play modern warfare on my graphics card is there anything higher than this that can play those games for agp

I kinow of a 512mb geforce card but most high end cards these days are using pci-express. If you really want to continue with modern games, it may be time to upgrade your pc.

My pc is hanging while playing games...pls any one solve my problem? i cant play games in my pc.. when i starts to play my pc starts hanging... i formated my xp os.....then also no changes......yesterday...

It seems like you have either a thermal problem (processor cooler defective, undersized or incorrectly mounted) or a defective power supply. I'm about 90% sure that the problem is thermal.

You should download the latest drivers from Nvidia. Also check your motherboard's manual to see if there is any restriction to what cards it is compatible to.

I can't play any 3D games cause the screen goes Skitzo.

A pci graphics card is not suitable for playing games especially games like WoW. You need to get a new computer with a good graphics card eg, nvidia geforce 9600gt with a core 2 duo/quad processor!

What Monitor settings are u using? Try higher frequency & if its a 17" monitor use 1024 x768 setting(resolution) and frequency 75-80 Hz. Also check the nVidia website for driver update for this model. I recently saw that there is a new driver in this category!!!!........sodeep

S3 graphics twisterK

To make a long story short, the answer is no. Games that require 64mb VGA won't work with your hardware. drivers or software won't fix that only a hardware upgrade will do it. Plus s3 brand cards are notorious for bad driver support.

It all depends what kind of games you wish to play, you can probably play all the older games like Quake or Half-Life or older than 1997 just fine on your system with that video card. But you won't be able to play almost any of the newer 3d games out there. If you want to play new games like Battlefield 2 for example, you would at least need a new Nvidia or ATI brand video card on a brand new computer.
