Procom pilot light wont light

Make sure the gas valve is on. The thermocouple may need to be cleaned in order for the pilot to stay lit.

Procom ML 300TBA Pilot will not stay on when button released

It sounds like you need to clean the contact on the thermocouple.

Here is a link to the service instruction of how to do that.

NEED PARTS # FOR THERMALCOUPLE MODEL #MN300TBA

The part # is ND0803-8. Keep in mind, that's a Procom part number not a universal part #.

Before you replace it, I would suggest that you clean the Pilot and the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS). If either is clogged, it can mimic a faulty thermocouple. You can accomplish the cleaning with a can of compressed air with a straw nozzle (like you clean your computer with). Do this particularly, if the pilot flame is curling up and away from the existing thermocouple. It's the first indicator that the pilot and ODS are clogged or semi-clogged.

For future reference I am including a link to your Owners Manual, that you can download and print.

Hope this helped solve your thermocouple problem.

It lights, but will only remained lit for a few minutes

It sounds like you could be having a problem with yur ODS pilot or thermocouple. Call Master Parts at 800-446-1446, they are the parts distributor for ProCom.

Pilot light not touching thermocouple

I would first check that the pilot orifice is not partially clogged. I would then make sure all gas filters (yes, even LP and natural gas systems have filters) are clean (inlet to gas valve).

Usually there is a small screw somewhere on the valve that adjusts the pilot. It will be covered by a screw or cap.

Reply back what you find and I will help further.
